How to Blow a Bubble

Writers write for many purposes. Today we learned that writers sometimes write to explain how to do something. Many of us did not know how to blow a balloon. We learned the steps and practiced blowing bubbles. It really was not as easy as we thought it would be!

Pajama Day Part Deux

We had an exuberant time in our PJs yesterday. We even put on a fashion show! Here are some pictures of the cutest Kinder kids ever!!

Teaching Bossy Bear

We read Bossy Bear. In the story, he was so bossy that he lost all his friends! We thought about solutions for Bossy Bear. We wrote letters to Bossy Bear and gave him advice on how to be a better friend.

Ready,Set,Action!

Today was Ms.Julia's last day. We will miss her so much but luckily we will be seeing her again in 1st grade! We had an exuberant time acting out a variation of the story Caps for Sale.

Bumble Bees

We have bumble bees in our room! Not too worry! These bees don't sting. They are high school students from Cardozo. They will be buzzing around our class every Friday afternoon teaching our class how to speak Spanish! We just learned how to say the days of the week in Spanish. So Much fun!

Happy 2012!

We learned so much in 2011 and had so much fun! 2012 will be an even more exciting time filled with many more learning and fun with friends so stay tuned!
